Charlemagne
Charlemagne, also known as Charles the Great, was a medieval emperor who ruled much of Western Europe from 768 to 814. He is credited with uniting a significant portion of Europe during the early Middle Ages and is considered the father of modern Europe. His reign saw the Carolingian Renaissance, a revival of art, culture, and learning based on classical models, and he played a crucial role in the promotion of Christianity across his empire.
