Mohamed bin Salman, often referred to as MBS, is the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, appointed in June 2017. He is known for his ambitious Vision 2030 initiative aimed at diversifying the Saudi economy away from oil dependence and for his controversial foreign policy decisions, including the war in Yemen and the diplomatic crisis with Qatar.
