Sara Astica
Sara Astica was a Chilean actress and educator who sought refuge in Costa Rica after enduring persecution and torture in Chile. Arriving in 1975, she became a pivotal force in the Costa Rican theater scene, co-founding Teatro La Comedia and contributing to the professionalization of local theater, while also teaching at the University of Costa Rica.
