Samia Suluhu Hassan
Samia Suluhu Hassan is the President of Tanzania, having taken office in March 2021 following the death of her predecessor, John Magufuli. She is the first woman to hold the presidency in Tanzania and has previously served as Vice President and Minister of State in the Vice President's Office. Recently, she co-hosted a summit in Dar es Salaam addressing the escalating situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and calling for immediate peace negotiations.
