Nicolae Xenopol
Nicolae Xenopol was a Romanian politician and economist, known for his role as a member of the National Liberal Party and later the Conservative-Democrat Party. He served as Romania's Minister of Industry and Commerce from 1912 to 1913 and was the ambassador to Japan in 1917. He advocated for Romania's involvement in World War I alongside the Allies and played a significant role in establishing the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. He passed away on December 5, 1917.
