Laurent Gbagbo
Laurent Gbagbo is a former president of Côte d'Ivoire, who was arrested in 2011 after being ousted from power following a violent post-election dispute. He became the first former head of state to stand trial at the ICC but was acquitted of charges of crimes against humanity in 2019.
