Brian Yuliarto
Brian Yuliarto is a prominent Indonesian academic and researcher, currently serving as the Minister of Higher Education and Science and Technology. He is a professor at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in the Faculty of Industrial Technology, where his research focuses on nanotechnology and quantum technology. Brian holds a bachelor's degree from ITB and completed his master's and doctoral studies at the University of Tokyo. In 2024, he received the Habibie Prize in the engineering category for his development of nanomaterial-based sensor technology, which has applications in detecting hazardous gases, diagnosing cancers and hepatitis, and advancing medical biosensor technology.
