Željko Tomašević
Željko Tomašević, a prominent Montenegrin football coach, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 49. He began his coaching career at a young age, becoming the youngest coach in the region at just 29 while leading Iskra from Danilovgrad for five seasons. Tomašević also had stints with various teams in Montenegro, including Mladost DG, Kom, and Ibra, as well as international coaching experience in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. Recently, he took over as the head coach of Grbalj, succeeding Ivan Brnović, and had led the team through five matches this season. He is also known as the father of Maša Tomašević, a Montenegrin footballer currently with Inter.
