Varnava Rosić, also known as Patriarch Varnava, was the 40th Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, serving from 1930 until his untimely death in 1937. He was born in Pljevlja in 1880 and is remembered for his opposition to the concordat between the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the Vatican, as well as for his significant contributions to the Serbian Orthodox Church.
