A 44-year-old Slovak man was recently arrested by Italian police near Milan after evading a warrant for 16 years. He had returned to Italy to watch the Slovak national hockey team compete in the Winter Olympics, despite the long-standing police notice against him for a series of shoplifting offenses committed in 2010.
