Stephen Siller
Stephen Siller was a heroic firefighter with the New York City Fire Department who tragically lost his life during the September 11 attacks in 2001. On that fateful day, after completing his shift, he learned of the attacks and selflessly rushed to the Twin Towers, carrying 60 pounds of emergency gear through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel when access was restricted. His bravery and sacrifice have inspired the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, established by his brother Frank Siller, which honors fallen first responders and supports their families, as well as veterans in need.
