Shih Chiang-nan
Shih Chiang-nan was a prominent Taiwanese physician and activist born in 1902, known for his outspoken advocacy for Taiwanese soldiers stranded abroad after World War II. He became increasingly involved in public affairs following the Japanese defeat and was a key figure during the tumultuous period of the 228 Incident in 1947. His disappearance on March 11, 1947, during a government crackdown on dissent, remains a significant event in Taiwan's history.
