Sergei Palchikov
A Russian music teacher who survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Sergei Palchikov (1893–1969) is remembered for his contributions to music and education in the aftermath of the war. His treasured violin, which was damaged during the bombing, is now preserved at the Hiroshima Women's University Historical Museum.
