Robert Huey
Robert Huey is a veterinary professional who served as the chief veterinary officer for Northern Ireland from 2013 to 2024. He gained media attention following a tribunal ruling that found he engaged in intimidating and patronising behaviour towards a whistleblower, Tamara Bronckaers, who raised concerns about animal welfare. Despite the tribunal's findings, he was recently appointed to the board of Horse Sport Ireland by Minister for Agriculture Martin Heydon.
