Rajko Jovchevski, born in 1937 in the village of Lukovo, Macedonia, is a celebrated writer and translator renowned for his contributions to children's literature. After completing his primary education in his hometown, he graduated from a secondary agricultural school in Bitola and later earned a degree in South Slavic literature from the Faculty of Philology in Skopje. Jovchevski served as the editor of the well-known children's magazine 'Razvigor' and was part of the editorial team for 'Detska Radost' at the then NIP 'Nova Makedonija'. A member of the Writers' Association of Macedonia since 1960, his works have left a lasting impact on generations of readers, enriching their childhood with light-filled verses and stories.
