Pablo Chamaco Abdala
Pablo Chamaco Abdala is an Uruguayan audiovisual director and former musician, notable for his contributions to both film and music. A graduate of the Escuela de Cine del Uruguay, Abdala gained recognition for his work as co-director of the film 'Mateína' and for directing the documentary series 'Guía 19172,' which explores the regulation of the marijuana market in Uruguay. He was also a founding member and drummer of the acclaimed band No Te Va Gustar from 1994 until 2006. Recently, he was appointed as the new director of TV Ciudad in Montevideo, succeeding José María Ciganda, who resigned due to health issues.
