Lone Lone
Dr. Lone Lone, a 41-year-old physician from the Aniara region in central Myanmar, transformed from a medical professional into a leader of a resistance battalion following the military coup in 2021. Initially intending to travel through Europe, he joined peaceful protests against the junta after the military violently suppressed demonstrations. After fleeing to the border regions, he trained with ethnic militia forces and organized the People's Defense Forces, a coalition of anti-junta groups. Despite lacking military training, he commands respect among his troops, many of whom are young civilians thrust into combat amid a prolonged civil war.
