Lefebvre
Marcel Lefebvre was a French Roman Catholic archbishop who founded the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) in 1970, a traditionalist group that opposes many of the reforms of the Second Vatican Council. He became a controversial figure in the Catholic Church due to his strong stance against modernism and his unauthorized ordination of bishops, which led to his excommunication in 1988.
