Since 2018, he has been associated with the Belarus High-Tech Park, where he served as the head of public information and international cooperation before becoming the Deputy Director. On March 3, 2025, he was appointed as the Minister of Communications and Informatization of Belarus, where he aims to enhance the IT sector's contribution to the national economy. Zaleski is recognized for advocating a balanced approach to digitalization in Belarus and addressing the challenges faced by the IT industry amid significant geopolitical changes.
