Keith Jarrett
Keith Jarrett is an acclaimed American jazz pianist and composer, known for his improvisational style and emotive performances. His 1975 performance at the Köln Opera House, which became known as The Köln Concert, is the best-selling solo piano album of all time, despite Jarrett's long-standing ambivalence towards it. After suffering strokes in 2018 that left him partially paralyzed, Jarrett has distanced himself from the concert, expressing a desire to disown it as he feels it overshadows his broader artistic contributions.
