Josef Terboven
Josef Terboven was a German politician and Nazi official who served as the Reichskommissar of Norway during the German occupation in World War II. Known for his harsh and oppressive rule, Terboven's administration was marked by brutality and resistance suppression. He ultimately committed suicide at Skaugum, the royal residence of the Norwegian crown family, as Allied forces were closing in on the Nazi regime.
