Jessica Treviño
Jessica Treviño immigrated to the United States at the age of seven and has lived in Alamo, Texas, for most of her life. At 34, she was detained by ICE agents despite being a DACA recipient when she was leaving church with her family. Her husband, who is undocumented, faced violent arrest, and the family was subsequently deported to Mexico, leaving their three young children in the care of relatives. Jessica is currently awaiting justice in Matamoros, hoping to return to the U.S. in time for her daughter's 15th birthday.
