Ioanna Sitaridou
Ioanna Sitaridou is a linguist and professor specializing in historical linguistics and Spanish. She has a degree in French philology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and her research focuses on syntax in Romance languages and Greek varieties, particularly Pontic Greek. As a co-director of the Centre for Greek Studies at the University of Cambridge, she is actively involved in efforts to reinstate the Chair of Modern Greek Language and Culture that was discontinued in 2013.
