Ingenuus was a rebel commander during the Roman Empire, best known for leading a revolt against Emperor Gallienus during the Crisis of the Third Century. His forces faced significant defeat at the Battle of Mursa in 260 AD, which ultimately led to his downfall and the loss of many of his soldiers, as evidenced by the discovery of their remains in a mass grave in Croatia.
