Houthis
The Houthis, formally known as Ansar Allah, are a political and armed movement from northern Yemen that emerged in the 1990s. They are predominantly Zaidi Shia Muslims and have been involved in a protracted civil conflict in Yemen since 2014, when they seized the capital, Sana'a. The group has been accused of receiving support from Iran and has engaged in various military confrontations against the Yemeni government and a Saudi-led coalition. Their actions have drawn international attention and condemnation, particularly in relation to the humanitarian crises resulting from the ongoing conflict.
