Homérosz
Homérosz is an ancient Greek poet traditionally said to be the author of two of the greatest epic poems of ancient Greece, the Iliad and the Odyssey. Although his historical existence is a subject of debate, these works have had a profound impact on Western literature and culture. The Odyssey, in particular, tells the story of Odysseus’s long and arduous journey home after the Trojan War, filled with encounters with mythical creatures and divine beings. Scholars believe that Homérosz composed these epics in the 8th century BCE, drawing on a rich oral tradition that predates him.
