Dr. Harshada Silva is the founder of the 1990 Suwa Seriya Foundation, a vital emergency ambulance service in Sri Lanka that has been operational since July 2016. Under his leadership, the service has expanded significantly, currently operating 319 ambulances across the country and responding to over 10 million emergency calls in the past decade. The initiative is a collaboration with the Indian government and has gained the trust of the Sri Lankan public by providing free emergency medical response services around the clock.
