Giuseppe Giussi Farina was a notable figure in Italian football, best known for his tenure as president of AC Milan from 1982 to 1986. Born in 1933 in Gambellara, Vicenza, he began his career in football management with Padova and later led Vicenza, where he famously nurtured Paolo Rossi. Under his leadership, Vicenza achieved a remarkable second place in the 1977-78 Serie A season. Farina's presidency at Milan was marked by both challenges and ambition, as he attempted to revive the club during a period of struggle, ultimately passing the baton to Silvio Berlusconi. Farina passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving behind a legacy in the Italian football community.
