Gilbert Mwangi Njuguna

politician unknown

Gilbert Mwangi Njuguna is a former senior resident magistrate in Kenya who became embroiled in a legal controversy after a court found that he had fraudulently acquired a government property valued at Sh55 million. Njuguna, who had a career with the Judicial Service Commission beginning in 1986, was interdicted in 2006 for misconduct and later retired in the public interest in 2008. The Environment and Land Court nullified the lease of the property he claimed, ruling that it was public land reserved for government housing and determining that the allocation process was irregular and unlawful.
