Flamur Pishli
Flamur Pishli, an Albanian laborer, became infamous in May 1999 when he hijacked a bus in Greece while threatening passengers with a grenade. This incident marked the first bus hijacking in Greece and ended tragically in Elbasan, Albania. Pishli's actions were a reflection of the difficult circumstances faced by Albanian immigrants in Greece during that time, and he was later regarded as a folk hero in Albania.
