Dmitry Skinderov
Dmitry Skinderov is a former entrepreneur from Vitebsk, Belarus, who gained notoriety for his opposition to the Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. He attempted to align himself with her political movement in 2020 but later became known as a provocateur, particularly following an incident in January 2026 where he assaulted Tsikhanouskaya's advisor, Denis Kuchinski, in a café. Recently, he has been in the news as Lithuania's Migration Department plans to revoke his refugee status, citing concerns over national security, given his past criticisms of Tsikhanouskaya and his diminishing political presence after a damaging investigation by 'Nasha Niva.'
