Denil Castillo
Denil Castillo is a 20-year-old Ecuadorian footballer who has recently been called up to the national team for the first time by coach Sebastián Beccacece for the World Cup 2026 qualifiers. A product of the Liga de Quito youth academy, Castillo has progressed through the ranks, eventually joining the senior squad and attracting attention from international clubs. In July 2023, he was signed by Shakhtar Donetsk for €800,000 and has since played on loan at Partizán in Russia before moving to Midtjylland in Denmark.
