Cecelia Stokes

Cecelia Stokes is a mycologist and PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research focuses on the ecology of the invasive Death Cap mushroom, particularly its toxic properties and the role they play in its establishment and spread. Initially drawn to mycology out of curiosity, Stokes has become passionate about understanding the complex interactions of fungi within ecosystems and the implications of their toxins.
