Alessio Casimirri
Alessio Casimirri is a former member of the Italian terrorist organization known as the Red Brigades, infamous for its violent activities in the 1970s, including the assassination of former Italian Prime Minister Aldo Moro. He was sentenced in absentia to six life terms in Italy for his crimes and has been living in Nicaragua, where he has evaded extradition despite multiple requests from the Italian government. Recently, his presence in Nicaragua became a point of diplomatic tension between Nicaragua and Italy, leading to the abrupt severing of diplomatic relations after Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani labeled Nicaragua as an 'extremist country'.
