Aleksanteri II, also known as Alexander II of Russia, was the Grand Duke of Finland and the Emperor of Russia, whose reign from 1855 to 1881 saw significant reforms in Finland, including the establishment of a more autonomous governance structure. His statue in Helsinki is one of the notable monuments whose resonant sound frequencies were featured in JP Kaljonen's sound art installation.
